The names and contact information of vendors who completed their ACO REACH CAHPS training requirements are posted on the ACO REACH CAHPS website. The list is available here: https://acoreachcahps.org/General-Information/Approved-Survey-Vendors. CMS has notified REACH ACOs of this list.

ACO REACH CAHPS Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) due by May 9, 2024

Training-approved survey vendors for the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey must submit their Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) no later than Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Survey vendors must follow the format and required content provided in the online PY 2024 Model QAP Outline linked here: https://acoreachcahps.org/Vendors/Model-Quality-Assurance-Plan-QAP.

Returning vendors: To ensure prompt review and acceptance of your QAP, please submit a tracked changes Word version (not a .pdf or other format) that shows only the revisions you have made since your previously approved QAP.

Remember that you must also update your online ACO REACH CAHPS Vendor Application Form if you have changed key personnel and/or subcontractors, or other key information presented in your approved vendor application.

Reminder to Register for the PY 2024 Introduction to the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey Self-Paced Training, April 3 - 10, 2024

This is a reminder that application-approved Survey Vendors who are new to the ACO REACH CAHPS project must register for the PY 2024 Introduction to the Accountable Care Organization Realizing Equity, Access, and Community Health (ACO REACH) CAHPS Training. The training will be held in a self-paced format and will be available from April 3-10, 2024.

Note: On April 3rd all individuals who have registered for the Introduction Training Session on the ACO REACH CAHPS website will receive an email containing the webinar recording access instructions.

This Introduction training is mandatory for:

Key staff from vendors and subcontractors new to the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey in PY 2024.
New key staff from returning vendors and subcontractors (those that were approved for the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey in PY 2023).

This Introduction training is optional for:

Other staff from new and returning vendors and subcontractors
- Returning key staff must attend the PY 2024 Update to the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey Webinar Training.
- For more information on the Update training, see the announcement posted to the ACO REACH CAHPS website on March 13, 2024.
Staff from REACH ACOs

Survey vendors must have their Survey Administrator/Project Manager pass a post-training certification exam. And for full approval, vendors must also submit a Quality Assurance Plan no later than May 9, 2024.

The training will be held once as a live webinar training session on April 10, 2024, from 12 to 1:30 PM ET. The training agenda will be posted on the ACO REACH CAHPS website before training. Only staff from application-approved Survey Vendors are permitted to register for this training session. As a reminder, the application period has closed for PY 2024.

This Update training is mandatory for:

Key staff from returning vendors and subcontractors (those that were approved for the ACO REACH CAHPS Survey in PY 2023).

This Update training is optional for:

ACO REACH CAHPS PY2023 Annual Quality Reports Publication Information

This announcement serves to inform PY 2023 ACO REACH CAHPS vendors that CMS will disseminate the PY2023 Annual Quality Report approximately July 2024. CMS will disseminate the report on the 4i portal. The Report includes information on all Model quality measures in 2023, including CAHPS. The CAHPS portion of the Annual Quality Report will contain the ACO’s de-identified individual survey results on all domains and all questions, as well as results at the overall ACO REACH CAHPS level. Please share this information with your client ACOs as needed.

PY 2024 ACO REACH CAHPS Survey Vendor Application Period Has Closed

The application to become a CAHPS survey vendor for Performance Year 2024 ACO REACH CAHPS has closed. If your organization has submitted an application, you will be contacted this month by the ACO REACH Survey Coordination Team.

Please note that organizations interested in applying to become approved survey vendors for the PY2025 should check this website later this year for details about PY2025 survey vendor application requirements, since those requirements may change.
